Our Cotton Specialist track gives you 11+ hours of programming so that you will come away with the knowledge and confidence needed to work effectively in the cotton industry. You’ll begin with the Ag 101, Sustainability, and Focus on Crops courses to give you a solid foundation. In the Cotton course, you’ll go deep into cotton production with a look at various growing areas in the US and the challenges and opportunities faced in these different regions. 

The provided content includes:

• The Ag 101 course with modules focused on Getting to Know Farmers and the Business of Agriculture

• The Sustainability course to help find the intersection of sustainability and agriculture and what that means day to day on farms

• The Focus on Crops course with modules on both Growing Crops and the Challenges Crops Face. 

• The Cotton Basics course that goes into facts and trivia, provides an overview of a production year, has interviews with 3 farmers from key regions, and an in-depth look at the cotton from a specialist.
