Our Beef Specialist track will give you 11+ hours of programming so that you will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to work effectively in the beef and cattle industry. You’ll begin with the Ag 101, Sustainability, and Focus on Livestock courses so that you have a solid foundation. In the Beef course, you’ll go deep into cattle ranching with a look at cow/calf operations, feeding operations, cattle care, and more. 

The provided content includes:

• The Ag 101 course with modules focused on Getting to Know Farmers and the Business of Agriculture

• The Sustainability course to help find the intersection of sustainability and agriculture and what that means day to day on farms

• The Focus on Livestock course with modules on both Raising Livestock and Animal Care 

• The Beef Basics course that goes into facts & trivia, provides an overview of the cattle lifecycle, has interviews with farmers/ranchers from key operation types, and a look into the beef market and supply chain.
